Key takeaways
  • 01LinkedIn ghostwriting pricing ran from $30 to a $5,000 floor for the same 8 to 12 posts, so the post count does not explain it. The dearest offers sell time with the executive, such as a weekly call; the $30 Fiverr pack lists text-only posts in three days, and no interview.
  • 02Most agency prices are not prices for posts. Of 18 agencies that publish one, 14 fold in outreach, DMs, commenting, ads, design or other channels, or price a different scope. Windmill Growth's $650 plan, which roundups call the cheapest, writes nothing.
  • 03The marketplace month sits below every range on page one. Fiverr sellers' middle price for 8 to 12 posts was $150 and Upwork's $180, while every monthly range in the top results starts at $500 or more.
  • 04The ranges online are copied and out of date. Windmill Growth's uncited $500 to $10,000 a month reappears word for word on Postiv, and roundups still list storyarb at $6,999 for 20 posts where its own page now reads $4,999 for 15.
  • 05Drafting a month of posts with AI costs about 52 cents of model time, or $19 to $99 for a LinkedIn tool. Neither runs the interview or keeps the voice, and those hours are what a ghostwriter's fee pays for.

This page prices the writing of one named person's posts: a month of 8 to 12 original text posts for one executive, written from a monthly interview, revised and handed over for approval. Running a company's accounts, answering comments and outreach are different jobs, priced elsewhere or left out here.

Most LinkedIn ghostwriting pricing online is a range with no source, or a package that folds in outreach. Every price below was read on the page it links to on 12 October 2026, and a package that bundles other work, or is priced only in pounds, is shown and left out of the ranges.

If you write for executives and are working out how much to charge for a LinkedIn post, the marketplace rows are what buyers meet first, with a middle of $173 for a month of 8 to 12 posts. The two independent writers whose monthly fee we could count charge $1,200 for 12 posts and from $3,000, the second with no post count stated.

The price, by route

In-house is not sampled. It uses the salary data for AI Content Writer (mid-level median, $84,000 base), loaded at 1.3x and divided by 6 to 10 executives at once. The count is our assumption, not a measured figure. At the vendors' own 45 to 90 minutes a post, ten posts plus the interview and a round of edits come to about 12 to 20 hours, so one writer could carry 6 to 10 executives; StartupCookie caps itself at six clients. No survey measures the time, and Sprout Social's 5 hours a week covers every network. A company with one executive pays the whole salary.

How the marketplace prices were drawn: (1) Fiverr, read 2026-10-12 in a real Chrome window over the DevTools protocol (off-screen, on its own debugging port and profile), with Fiverr's logged_out_currency and currency cookies set to USD; gig data reports currency USD at rate 1. Search URL https://www.fiverr.com/search/gigs?query=linkedin%20ghostwriting, default sort 'Relevance', 508 results. Took the whole first page (48 positions) and applied skip rules stated before reading, on the card title (not the URL slug, which keeps a gig's first title): duplicates repeated lower on the page (22, 23, 24, 43); articles or blogs rather than posts (5, 6); titles selling LinkedIn account, page or profile management or optimisation, i.e. containing 'manage' or 'manager' or leading with the profile (7, 10, 11, 12, 18, 25, 28, 29, 42, 44, 45, 48); fiction or book ghostwriting (34, 36). 28 gigs kept (positions 1-4, 8, 9, 13-17, 19-21, 26, 27, 30-33, 35, 37-41, 46, 47). Every package was read from the gig's embedded package data (title, description, price, delivery, feature ticks and add-ons), with feature ticks cross-checked on the rendered package card. (2) Upwork Project Catalog, read the same day in the same browser: https://www.upwork.com/services/search?q=linkedin%20ghostwriting, default order, 268 projects, first page of 24. Same skip rules removed 9 (book or ebook 2, 16; articles or blogs 15, 19; management 4, 11, 18; profile-led 5, 12); 15 kept, each tier read by selecting it on the page, plus the compare table and add-ons. Normalisation, the same on both: posts per package are read from the package text; where the text and the post-count field disagree, the smaller. A package whose text names custom graphics, carousels, video, other platforms, account management, outreach, commenting, profile optimisation or website uploads is not counted, because the copy has no separate price; a ticked 'Custom graphics' box or stock images alone do not exclude a package (noted on the row). If any countable package has 8 to 12 posts, the cheapest such package counts as published. Otherwise the posts-only package nearest 10 posts (ties to the smaller) converts per post x 10; packages that bundle a LinkedIn article are not used for that conversion, and packages above 20 posts are not used. One counted price per seller; every other package is recorded with what it would convert to. Prices exclude marketplace service fees. (3) Contra: no priced LinkedIn ghostwriting service could be found (see gaps).

Not a criticism. Quoting per project is normal when the work varies. It does mean the ranges above describe the providers who publish, and the ones who do not are rarely the cheapest.

What moves the price

Why one month of LinkedIn posts costs 166 times another

How often the writer talks to the executive: weekly, monthly, or never.

  1. 01

    A recorded interview

Time with the executive is what lifts a marketplace price. Fiverr seller Chinedum A charges $150 for a Post Sprint and $350 for a month 'built from a 20-minute voice interview'; at agency level, Underdog's $2,500 month rests on a 30-minute session every week.

    Chinedum A on Fiverr
  2. 02

    Posts per month

LinkedIn ghostwriting rates per post do not always fall as the count rises. Fiverr seller Khan sells 4, 8 and 12 posts for $60, $110 and $150; Prit Centrago sells 12, 16 and 20 for $1,200, $1,600 and $2,000, the same rate at every size, adding a carousel and then X.

  3. 03

Outreach and engagement in the bundle

Outreach is the commonest extra in an agency month, and it is a different job from writing. Jennavi's $1,000 month includes outreach campaigns, Concurate's from $3,000 includes DM management, and Media Engine's from $3,000 adds commenting and appointment setting.

    Concurate's own roundup
  4. 04

    Design and longer formats

Underdog's Authority tier adds carousels, infographics and long-form for $3,500 a month, against $2,500 for its Presence tier without them. On Upwork, Neha M. moves from two posts at $45 to eight posts with custom graphics at $300.

    Underdog Ghostwriting pricing
  5. 05

    Commitment and billing

Underdog bills every tier quarterly; storyarb's $4,999 Executive tier needs six months and two executives; Better Marketing needs six months; Jennavi takes 5% off for three months and 10% for six. The monthly figure is rarely the smallest cheque.

    storyarb pricing
  6. 06

    A second platform

Pete at petecodes.io charges $3.9k a month for LinkedIn, replies and follows included, and $7k for LinkedIn and X combined. Underdog's $6,500 Category Voice tier spreads up to 100 pieces a month across LinkedIn, X and a newsletter.

What the machine costs, and what it does not

Eight LinkedIn writing tools charge $19 to $99 a month, and a mid-range model drafts a month of ten posts for about 52 cents in tokens, on our estimate. The receipt prices the model, then adds the hours none of them covers: the interview, the choice of angles and the edit for voice.

What AI cannot do here
  • Run the interview and hear what the executive actually thinks
  • Know which customer conversation this week is worth a post
  • Tell a draft that sounds like the executive from one that sounds like a template
  • Get the executive's approval before anything goes out under their name

Edit hours: Our editorial estimate for preparing and running the monthly interview, choosing ten angles and rewriting each draft in the executive's voice. No survey measures it; vendors put a post written from scratch at 45 to 90 minutes. The hourly rate is the same loaded in-house figure used for the in-house route, so the two are comparable.

What a month of LinkedIn posts takes to do yourself

Vendors put one post at 45 minutes 'on a good day' (ContentIn), an hour (Underdog) or 90 minutes (Foundera), and none publishes a method. Ten posts at those rates is 7.5 to 15 hours before planning and editing. The hours are valued below at a writer's rate, which is usually well under an executive's.

No independent survey measures this, so the hours are our editorial estimate.

At the same loaded rate as an in-house hire ($53 an hour), your 10.5 to 21 hours are worth $551 to $1,103.

The cheapest 'ghostwriting' plan writes nothing

Roundups cite Windmill Growth's $650 Growth plan as the lowest published price. The plan boosts engagement and writes no posts; its own page says: 'Want the posts written as well? That is Founder OS, at $3,999/month.'

02

A monthly price billed by the quarter

Underdog's $2,500 Presence month is billed quarterly, so the smallest invoice is $7,500, and its own page says: 'Month one is setup, not a stack of posts.' Compare the first invoice, not the monthly figure.

One roundup lists Jennavi at 'Starter at $200/mo for 8 posts'; Jennavi's page now shows $1,000 a month for 12 posts with outreach, after a $500 pilot. Another lists storyarb at $6,999 for 20 posts against $4,999 for 15 today. YellowInk is quoted three different ways, in two currencies.

The cost of doing nothing

What not having it costs, in your numbers rather than ours

An executive who does not post still gets looked up. What the silence costs depends on who is doing the looking, and that you can count.

  • Looked up, and nothing to read

Buyers, candidates and investors look an executive up before a first meeting. A profile with no recent posts gives them nothing, so the meeting starts without the context the executive could have set.

  • Knowledge that stays in the room

What the executive knows stays in calls, Slack threads and board decks. Nobody outside can quote it, share it or find it, and AI answers cannot cite what was never published.

  • Someone else frames the category

Competitors' leaders who post occupy the same feeds and frame the category's questions in their own terms. Silence leaves that framing to them.

How I price it

Why there is no per-piece price from me

busyless runs on a retainer. A Fractional Head of Content, from $5,000 a month and month to month, owns the system: which channels we bet on, the editorial standard, customer interviews, the conversion path and the monthly report.

Production sits underneath as execution capacity, from $2,000 a month, through agents I have built or people I manage. We make as much as growth needs, so a price per piece would measure the count rather than whether it worked.

Most clients start with Discovery: two weeks and $2,500 for the diagnosis and a 90-day plan, theirs to keep either way.

FAQ

Frequently asked

  • Why does a month of LinkedIn posts cost $30 from one seller and $5,000 from another?
Because the two sell different access to the executive. The $30 month is eight text-only posts from a Fiverr gig; the $5,000 figure is a floor for three to five posts a week from a weekly call, with distribution. Interviews, length, outreach and extra platforms move the price more than the count does.
  • How much of an executive's time does LinkedIn ghostwriting take?
It ranges from none to a weekly call. A Gumroad offer works from short stories you email, with no meetings; Underdog holds a 30-minute session every week and StartupCookie a weekly 30 to 45 minute audio call. storyarb says clients spend one to two hours a week reviewing once the work is in rhythm.
  • Why are so few agency prices for LinkedIn ghostwriting comparable?
Because most agencies sell more than the posts. Of 18 that publish a price, 14 fold in outreach, DMs, commenting, ads, design or other channels, or price a different scope, such as two executives. Only three price one executive's month of posts in a form we could compare: $199, $2,500 and $5,000, the last a starting price. The $2,500 states a weekly cadence but no post count.
  • Where do Fiverr LinkedIn ghostwriters get the executive's voice from?
Mostly from what you send. Of the 43 marketplace sellers we read, one package describes an interview: Chinedum A's month 'built from a 20-minute voice interview', at $350. The rest work from notes or past posts, and some posts are short: one $95 package is '5 posts or up to 500 words'.
  • Do LinkedIn writing tools replace a ghostwriter?
They replace the typing. The eight tools here cost $19 to $99 a month, and a month of drafts costs about 52 cents of model time. None runs the interview, picks the angles or reads a draft for the executive's voice, which on our estimate is six to ten hours a month, $315 to $525 at an in-house rate.
  • How soon do the first ghostwritten LinkedIn posts go live?
Days on a marketplace, weeks at an agency. Two Upwork sellers we read deliver eight posts in five and ten days. storyarb puts the first draft four to five weeks after kickoff, Underdog treats month one as setup, and Jennavi starts with a 30-day paid pilot.
  • How many executives can one in-house LinkedIn ghostwriter cover?
Six to ten, on our assumption of 12 to 20 hours per executive a month; no survey measures it. A mid-level AI content writer costs $9,100 a month loaded, which is $910 to $1,517 per executive across that range. With one executive to write for, the company carries the whole salary.
  • Does busyless ghostwrite LinkedIn posts for executives?
Not as a package. Founder-led social is one of the channels I may pick and run inside a fractional engagement: from $5,000 a month to lead the work, with production from $2,000 a month on top. There is no price for a month of posts on its own. If you only need posts written, the routes on this page are the way to buy them.
