Reboot Online review

Agency · London, United Kingdom · Since 2012

Reviewed by Eugene SuslovRead September 2026No affiliate links

Every agency in this directory says its links are good. Reboot is the only one that lets you check.

It publishes a live feed of the press coverage and links it has secured, updated continuously, with the client named, the date and the authority score against each entry. Nothing else here comes close. The rest of the market offers case studies it chose, which is a different claim entirely: a selected result proves the ceiling, a full feed shows the floor.

The second unusual thing is on its own sales page. Reboot states that it once owned one of the largest private blog networks in the UK. That is the single worst fact about a link building agency's history, and it is volunteered rather than buried, in the middle of an argument about why buying links does not work.

Our scorecard

An editorial read across six dimensions, scored against the other 32 specialists in this directory. Not an aggregate of user reviews, and deliberately kept out of this page's structured data.

  • Verifiable output5/5

The only public, client-named, continuously updated placement feed here.

  • Candour5/5

Discloses its own PBN history unprompted, on a sales page.

  • Price transparency1/5

No figure anywhere, and the calculator is gated behind a form.

  • Internal consistency2/5

Publishes two different authority floors on two of its own pages.

  • Scale5/5

An 80-person team with in-house data science.

  • Predictable volume2/5

Campaign work. Coverage lands unevenly by nature.

Who Reboot Online is for

Buyers who have been burned and want to audit before they commit. The feed means you can look at real placements for real named clients, in your sector or adjacent to it, before a single conversation.

It suits campaign work rather than steady link volume. This is a digital PR house: the output is coverage, and coverage arrives unevenly.

Strengths and limits

What it does well

  • A live, public, client-named feed of actual placements, which no other specialist in this directory publishes
  • Discloses its own private blog network history on its sales page rather than hiding it
  • An 80-person team with in-house data scientists, which is at the large end for a specialist
  • Campaign work aimed at coverage rather than a fixed link quota, so output is not padded to hit a number

Where it falls short

  • Publishes no price at all. The calculator requires a form submission before it returns anything
  • Its two published quality floors do not agree: DR 40+ on one page, DR 30+ on another
  • Sells SEO and GEO alongside earned media, so links are the lead product rather than the only one
  • Campaign output is inherently lumpy, which suits a launch and suits steady monthly volume much less

Reboot Online pricing

Nothing is published. The site runs a digital PR calculator that asks for a budget and promises a delivery window and link target in return, but it returns nothing without a form submission, and no rate card appears anywhere.

That is the norm rather than the exception among the digital PR agencies in this directory. Of the eight digital PR houses checked, two published a price. What is unusual here is the contrast: an agency this open about its outputs is this closed about its inputs.

How the work actually runs

  1. 1Campaign concepting against a data or research angle
  2. 2Asset build, with in-house data scientists and designers
  3. 3Journalist outreach against the target publication list
  4. 4Placements logged to the public feed as they land

What it says about paying publishers

Says it does not pay for placements

Time and time again website owners throw their money down the drain buying links from shady link building agencies and penalised link networks.

On target sites: you see the sites after placement.

This records what Reboot Online publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the company does, and a published denial is not proof of one either.

Limits and exclusions

  • The two published authority floors conflict, so confirm which applies to your engagement in writing
  • No published minimum term or minimum spend
  • The public feed shows placements won, not campaigns run, so it is not a success rate

Verdict

Worth a conversation if you have been burned before and want to check the work before you commit, because this is the only supplier here where that is actually possible. Read the feed, find placements in or near your sector, and judge them yourself. Very few buying decisions in this category can be made on evidence rather than on a pitch.

Go in knowing two things. You will not learn the price without giving up your details, and its own pages disagree on the authority floor, so get the applicable figure written into the engagement. And if you need a predictable number of links each month rather than coverage when a campaign lands, a per-link supplier will serve you better and cost less.

Reboot Online FAQ

  • What does Reboot Online publish that other agencies do not?
A live feed of the links it has won for clients, naming the client, the date and the authority score of each placement. Of 33 link building specialists checked for this directory, it is the only one doing this. Everyone else offers selected case studies.
  • Did Reboot Online really run a private blog network?
It says so itself, on its own link building sales page, stating that at one point it owned one of the largest PBNs in the UK. The disclosure sits inside an argument about why buying links wastes money. Volunteering that history is unusual and it is the reason this page treats the agency as candid rather than simply well marketed.
  • How much does Reboot Online cost?
It does not publish a price. A digital PR calculator asks for a budget and promises a delivery window and link target, but returns nothing without a form submission. Two of the eight digital PR agencies checked for this directory publish a price; this is not one of them.
  • What Domain Rating does Reboot Online guarantee?
Its own pages disagree. The link building page says it counts only DR 40+ links, while the digital PR calculator promises DR 30+. Both are published as commitments, so get the applicable figure in writing before signing.
  • Is Reboot Online a link building agency or an SEO agency?
Both, and that matters for this directory. Earned media is the lead product and the thing it is known for, which is why it is listed here, but it also sells SEO and GEO. If you want a supplier that sells nothing but links, several entries in this directory sell nothing else.

This is an independent review. Reboot Online is not a client or a partner, we have no affiliate relationship with them, we earn nothing if you hire them, and nobody pays for placement in the directory. Prices were read from the company's own pages in September 2026 and change without notice.
