Digitaloft review
Agency · Kendal, United Kingdom
Digitaloft built and named its own relevance-measurement framework, on the argument that Google's documented approach to topicality had no practical equivalent in digital PR measurement. That is a more serious piece of work than most agencies in this market attempt.
It also gates every campaign on a single question: would landing this coverage help the client get found in a priority buying search? If the answer is no, it says it does not run the campaign. That is a refusal, published, and refusals are the scarcest thing on an agency website.
Who Digitaloft is for
Brands that have been sold coverage volume before and found it did nothing commercially.
It sells SEO and content alongside the PR, so it suits a buyer who wants the search strategy and the coverage from one place rather than a pure link supplier.
Strengths and limits
What it does well
- Built its own relevance framework rather than reporting Domain Rating like everyone else
- Publishes a gate it applies to campaigns, and says it declines work that fails it
- States that it earned links through PR while the market was buying them
- Runs The Digital PR Summit, which is a real industry commitment rather than a marketing claim
Where it falls short
- Sells SEO, technical SEO, content and GEO alongside digital PR, which is the widest menu of any agency kept in this directory
- Publishes no price, and its own cost FAQ renders no figure
- No published quality floor, and the page argues against the concept
- Does not address whether target publications are shared in advance
Digitaloft pricing
No figure is published. A cost FAQ exists on the digital PR page but its answer loads on click and renders nothing.
The agency's own argument is that link counts and average Domain Rating are vanity metrics, which makes a per-link price structurally incompatible with how it sells. Consistent, and still an obstacle to comparison.
What it says about paying publishers
Says it does not pay for placements
“Back when everyone else was buying links, we were earning them using PR.”
On target sites: does not say.
This records what Digitaloft publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the company does, and a published denial is not proof of one either.
Verdict
Worth a conversation if you have run digital PR before and got coverage that did not move anything commercial. The relevance framework and the published campaign gate are both attempts to solve exactly that, and neither is common.
The menu is the caveat, and it is why this entry sits close to the edge of a specialist directory. Digitaloft sells SEO, content and GEO as well, so confirm whether you are buying a PR team or a search retainer with a PR component.
This is an independent review. Digitaloft is not a client or a partner, we have no affiliate relationship with them, we earn nothing if you hire them, and nobody pays for placement in the directory. Prices were read from the company's own pages in September 2026 and change without notice.
