Bulldog Digital Media review
Agency · London, United Kingdom
Bulldog publishes its full rate card in pounds, euros and dollars simultaneously, which sounds administrative and is actually rare: most suppliers publish one currency and convert on a call.
It also does two things almost nobody else does. It lets clients pre-approve every backlink free of charge before it goes live, and it prices an unlinked brand mention as its own line item at GBP 200 against GBP 450 for a linked placement. Separating those two products is a more honest reflection of what AI search has done to the value of a mention than most of this market manages.
Who Bulldog Digital Media is for
Buyers who want approval rights without paying a premium for them, and companies tracking brand mentions for AI search as well as links.
The rolling monthly structure and three-month saving option make it flexible at both ends.
Strengths and limits
What it does well
- Free pre-approval of every backlink before it goes live, presented as a differentiator rather than an upsell
- Full rate card published in three currencies at once
- Prices an unlinked brand mention separately from a linked placement
- Digital PR is billed only once a placement is live
Where it falls short
- The guarantee is qualified rather than absolute, promising to work toward a replacement or refund rather than committing to one
- Says nothing about whether publishers are paid
- No founding year published, only a stated eleven years of operation
- Also sells content, though it is clearly subordinate
Bulldog Digital Media pricing
GBP 200 a backlink, or GBP 1,800 a month for ten. Digital PR is GBP 450 a placement and billed only when live. An unlinked brand mention is GBP 200. Standard backlinks sit at DR 30 to 70, PR placements at DR 50+, and AI brand mentions require 2,000+ monthly traffic.
Billing PR only on a live placement shifts real risk from buyer to supplier, and very few agencies in this directory do it.
What it says about paying publishers
Does not say either way
We found no statement on its site about whether it pays publishers for placements. That is the most common answer in this directory rather than an unusual one, and it is recorded as silence rather than treated as an admission of anything.
On target sites: you approve the sites first.
This records what Bulldog Digital Media publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the company does, and a published denial is not proof of one either.
Verdict
One of the easiest suppliers here to buy from with confidence. Free approval before placement, a published card in your own currency, and PR billed only when it lands together remove most of the usual unknowns.
Read the guarantee carefully, because it is worded as an intention rather than a commitment: the site says it cannot guarantee a link stays live indefinitely and will work to replace or refund. That is more honest than an absolute promise and also less binding than one.
This is an independent review. Bulldog Digital Media is not a client or a partner, we have no affiliate relationship with them, we earn nothing if you hire them, and nobody pays for placement in the directory. Prices were read from the company's own pages in September 2026 and change without notice.
