SyncMatters review

Migration, Integration, CRM implementation · Austin, Texas, United States

SyncMatters describes itself as a product-led integration and migration platform rather than a consultancy, and the pricing page shows what that means. Option one is its own software, priced in seven bands by how many records you are moving. Option two is getting help from its team, either a guided migration or a fully custom one.

The services side covers data migrations into HubSpot and between HubSpot portals, custom integrations, CMS asset migrations for mergers and consolidations, Operations Hub custom-coded workflow actions, onboarding and an on-demand HubSpot admin.

It reports 2,500+ clients, 35+ team members and 13+ global locations, ranked 253 on the 2024 Inc. 5000, with its registered address on Bee Caves Road in Austin. The leadership page names fourteen people, from the CEO to team leads in data operations and technical engineering.

Who SyncMatters is for

Teams that know the record count and want the cost of the move before anything else. The free tier under 100 records and the $149 band under 5,000 make a trial genuinely cheap, and the same platform scales to two million records without changing vendor.

Mergers and portal consolidations are a specific strength. The CMS asset migration service exists for companies that were acquired or merged and do not want to rebuild content, design and functionality from scratch in a new portal.

Strengths and limits

Strengths

  • Publishes seven migration price bands by record volume, from free under 100 records to $3,499 up to two million
  • Prices the middle option explicitly: $875 adds a named migration specialist, five hours of support, mapping verification and QA to a self-serve migration
  • Clause 8.1 of the terms states that you or your licensors own all right, title and interest in your content
  • Names the operational platforms it connects, including NetSuite, Greenhouse, Sage and Deltek Vantagepoint for architecture and engineering firms

Limits

  • Integrations run on its own platform, and the terms reserve all rights in that platform while granting you a revocable licence for the term only
  • The hubspot-admin-program URL linked from its own services page redirected to an unrelated parked domain when checked on 20 September 2026
  • Custom migrations and integration services carry no published price at all, only the self-serve product does
  • Nothing published states who does the delivery work or whether any of it is subcontracted

SyncMatters pricing

The self-serve product is fully priced: free under 100 records, $149 under 5,000, $349 under 12,500, $599 under 25,000, $1,199 under 100,000, $2,499 under 500,000 and $3,499 up to two million, with anything larger quoted. A Guided Migration is an $875 add-on that supplies a migration specialist, five hours of support, mapping verification, QA and a one to two week delivery.

A Custom Migration, with an implementation team, customisations and custom supported CRMs, is quoted rather than priced, with a three week or longer delivery. Integration services, implementations, onboarding and the admin programme carry no published figures.

Self-serve migration is tiered by record count: free under 100 records, then $149, $349, $599, $1,199, $2,499 and $3,499 up to two million records. A Guided Migration adds a specialist and five hours of support for $875. Custom migrations and integration services are quoted.

Licences, the build, and whose hands

Does it earn on your licences

Does not say whether it earns on your licences

We found nothing on its site or in its terms about whether it resells HubSpot licences or is paid on the software it recommends. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the firm. Ask before the first invoice.

Who owns the build

Says it keeps rights in the work

we or our affiliates or licensors own and reserve all right, title, and interest in and to the Service Offerings. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferrable license

Who does the work

Does not say who does the work

We found nothing on its site or in its terms about whether the people in your portal are employees, an offshore team or subcontractors. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the firm. Ask before the first invoice.

This records what SyncMatters publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the firm does in practice.

Verdict

Knowing your record count is enough to price a HubSpot migration here, which is rare, and the $875 guided tier is a sensible middle path for a team that wants supervision without a consulting engagement. The portal consolidation and CMS asset migration work is the right fit after an acquisition.

The ownership question is different from a normal services engagement. Integrations run on the SyncMatters platform, and its terms reserve all right and title in that platform while granting a revocable, non-transferable licence that lasts only as long as the term. Anyone who needs an integration they can keep and maintain independently should establish what happens on exit before starting.
