Zenserp review

Simplest plan structure

Reviewed by Eugene SuslovUpdated August 2026No affiliate links

Zenserp is a plain SERP API with no credit multipliers and no unit semantics to decode. Plans are quoted in searches, one search is one search, and the number on the pricing page is the number you get.

It is not the cheapest option here, at roughly $10 per 1,000 searches on the entry plan, but it is one of the easiest to budget for, and the free tier lets you check the response shape before committing.

Who Zenserp is for

Small teams that value predictable billing over the lowest possible rate, and anyone who has been burned by a credit system where the plan size bore no relation to the number of usable requests.

Strengths and limits

What it does well

  • One search equals one search. No multipliers to model and no surprises on the invoice.
  • Multi-engine coverage including Google, Bing, Yandex and DuckDuckGo.
  • A free tier, small but enough to verify the response shape fits your parser.
  • Clean documentation with a low time to first successful request.

Where it falls short

  • Around ten times the per-search cost of Serper or ValueSERP at entry level.
  • The 50-search free tier is really a smoke test rather than a trial.
  • Smaller operation with less community material to draw on when something breaks.

Zenserp pricing

Plans start at $49.99 a month for 5,000 searches, roughly $10 per 1,000, with $129.99 for 20,000 and larger tiers above that. Fifty free searches are available for testing.

At that rate it sits well above the cheap end of the market. The honest case for it is billing clarity rather than cost, so if you are comfortable modelling credits, you will save real money elsewhere.

Verdict

Fine, unremarkable, and easy to budget for. If predictable billing matters more than the last few dollars per thousand, it does the job. If cost is the deciding factor, Serper, ValueSERP and Scale SERP are all substantially cheaper for the same organic results.

Zenserp FAQ

  • How much does Zenserp cost?
From $49.99 a month for 5,000 searches, about $10 per 1,000, with $129.99 for 20,000 and larger tiers above. There are 50 free searches for testing.
  • Does Zenserp use credits?
No, and that is its main selling point. Plans are quoted in searches and one search costs one search, with no multipliers by feature or engine.
  • Which search engines does Zenserp support?
Google, Bing, Yandex and DuckDuckGo, plus image, news, shopping and maps endpoints, with location and device targeting.
  • Is Zenserp worth it over cheaper alternatives?
Only if billing simplicity is worth roughly ten times the per-search cost to you. Serper, ValueSERP and Scale SERP return substantially the same organic results for far less, at the price of modelling their credit systems.
