Advanced Web Ranking review

Best client reporting

Reviewed by Eugene SuslovUpdated August 2026No affiliate links

Advanced Web Ranking has been tracking rankings since long before most of this directory existed, and its strength is what happens after the data arrives. Reporting is the most configurable in the category, and white-labelling is properly supported rather than bolted on.

The API is included rather than metered, but only from the Agency plan at $279 a month. The cheaper Pro plan at $139 tracks 7,000 keywords with no API access, which makes the real entry point for programmatic use the higher tier.

Who Advanced Web Ranking is for

Agencies that produce a lot of client-facing ranking reports and want both the tracking and the presentation layer from one vendor. If you only need the numbers to feed your own dashboard, cheaper routes exist.

Strengths and limits

What it does well

  • Unlimited API access on Agency and above, rather than a metered allowance that pushes you into overage.
  • Generous keyword counts: 14,500 on Agency, 35,500 on Enterprise, 50,000 above that.
  • Genuinely strong white-label reporting, which is the reason most agencies stay.
  • Publishes CTR-by-position curve data, which is useful for forecasting well beyond the product itself.

Where it falls short

  • No API on the $139 Pro plan, so programmatic access effectively starts at $279 a month.
  • Rank tracking and reporting only. No backlinks, no keyword research, no crawl data.
  • The interface shows its age next to newer platforms.

Advanced Web Ranking pricing

Four plans: Pro at $139 a month for 7,000 keywords, Agency at $279 for 14,500, Enterprise at $699 for 35,500, and a 50,000-keyword tier at $980. Annual billing saves 10%, and there is a 30-day money-back guarantee.

API access starts on Agency. That is the number to compare, not the $139 headline, and at 14,500 keywords with unlimited API calls it prices competitively against per-keyword trackers at similar scale.

Verdict

A solid, unglamorous choice for agencies that live in client reports. Unlimited API on the Agency plan is genuinely good value at 14,500 keywords. If reporting is not the constraint and you just want ranking numbers in your own system, building on a SERP API costs less.

Advanced Web Ranking FAQ

  • How much does Advanced Web Ranking cost?
    Pro is $139 a month for 7,000 keywords, Agency $279 for 14,500, Enterprise $699 for 35,500 and a 50,000-keyword tier is $980. Annual billing saves 10%.
  • Which plans include API access?
Agency and above. The $139 Pro plan does not include it, so the real entry point for programmatic use is $279 a month, where API access is unlimited rather than metered.
  • Is Advanced Web Ranking good for agencies?
It is one of the strongest options for agencies specifically, because white-label client reporting is a first-class feature rather than an afterthought, and the API is unmetered at that tier.
  • Does it do anything besides rank tracking?
Not really. There is no backlink index, no keyword research database and no site crawl. Expect it to sit alongside a broader SEO API rather than replace one.
