AccuRanker is a rank tracker from Aarhus, launched in 2013 and listed since 2023 as an active investment of VækstPartner Kapital, a Danish private equity firm. It checks keywords every day, lets you refresh them by hand, and since September 2025 has sold AccuLLM for visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and AI Mode. In May 2026 it added an official MCP server.

Daily has a precise meaning here. Since Google removed the num parameter, AccuRanker tracks the top 30 results daily and the full top 100 twice a month, filling positions 31 to 100 from the latest full snapshot. The API is the reason to look closely: a live REST interface where you name the fields you want, filter with nested rules and let other accounts authorise you over OAuth.

The catch is on the pricing page, which opens on yearly billing. Its €224 headline is the Professional plan's annual per-month price, and Professional lists no API at all. Read access first appears on Expert, at €849 a month or €764 billed yearly for 10,000 keywords, and write access only on Enterprise. Budget from Expert, and design for 100 requests a minute.

Who AccuRanker API is for

Teams building something on top of rankings: an agency client portal, an internal BI layer, or a SaaS product that shows customers their positions. Field-selected JSON, nested filters and OAuth for other accounts are the pieces that make that kind of integration practical, and Expert's 10,000 daily keywords at €849 a month is a reasonable base for one.

The economics fall apart for a small team that only wants a monthly export. Professional is cheaper but lists no API, so programmatic access costs €849 a month from the first day, and a scheduled report has no use for live queries. That job belongs to Advanced Web Ranking's export API, or to a SERP API if you would rather assemble the report yourself.

Strengths and limits

What it does well

  • A live REST API with GraphQL-style field selection, so a request returns exactly the columns you asked for and nothing more.
  • OAuth 2.0 alongside token auth, which lets other AccuRanker accounts authorise an integration without sharing credentials.
  • Nested AND and OR filters over rank, intent, SERP features and AI Overview fields, on the same engine the app uses since June 2026.
  • An official read-only MCP server since May 2026 connects ChatGPT, Claude and Claude Code to the same data with no extra billing.
  • Manual refreshes are allowed once the last update is two hours old and do not count as extra keyword usage.
  • Going over the plan is billed per extra keyword per day rather than forcing an upgrade, which suits short campaigns and migrations.
  • Write limits are published and reported in response headers, with 429 and Retry-After once you exceed them.

Where it falls short

  • Professional, the plan the pricing page leads with, lists no API. Read access starts on Expert at €849 a month.
  • The pricing page opens on yearly billing, so its €224 headline is an annual per-month price; monthly Professional is €249.
  • The Read API allows 100 requests a minute and four simultaneous connections per IP, so bulk pulls need a queue.
  • Only the top 30 positions are checked daily. Positions 31 to 100 come from a full update run twice a month.
  • Period queries stop at 100 days and full SERP data at 500 keyword-days a request, so backfills take many calls.
  • Write access, raw SERP HTML and BigQuery are listed only on Enterprise, which is quote-only.
  • AccuLLM is a separate subscription, and its API needs LLM Pro at €499 or $579 a month.

Professional is €249 a month for 2,000 keywords, €369 for 3,000 and €609 for 5,000, while Expert is €849 for 10,000, rising through €1,089 and €1,329 to €1,569 for 25,000. Enterprise, above 25,000, is quoted. Yearly billing takes 10% off, and the page loads on yearly.

That default is why the headline reads €224. It is Professional on annual billing, and Professional's card lists no API. The unlimited read API first appears on Expert, so the honest entry price for programmatic access is €849 a month, or €764 paid yearly. Write access sits on Enterprise alongside raw SERP HTML and BigQuery.

Per daily keyword, Expert works out near 8.5 cents a month. Advanced Web Ranking's Agency plan, the other dedicated tracker here, covers about 2,070 daily keywords for $279, near 13.5 cents, because its units are weekly. AccuRanker costs three times as much to switch on and less per keyword once running, and it answers live queries where AWR ships exports.

Against building it yourself, 10,000 keywords checked daily on DataForSEO's Standard queue come to about $180 a month at the $0.0006 per SERP rate in its entry here, before storage, scheduling and reporting. AccuLLM is priced separately from €199 or $229 a month for 100 prompts, and only LLM Pro upwards lists API access.

AccuRanker comes up in rank-tracker threads as a default recommendation, usually in a word or two, and the longer comments praise the same things: accuracy against the all-in-one suites, speed, the API and customer service. None of the comments we read questioned its accuracy.

Price is the steady complaint, and one 2025 comment quotes the $224 headline as the monthly cost. That figure is the yearly-billed Professional price, which has no API, so the real cost of what these practitioners praise is higher than the number they are reacting to.

Verdict

A rank tracker whose API is built like a product interface rather than an export: live JSON, field selection, nested filters, OAuth for other accounts, published limits and an official MCP. If rankings are going into software that people query, that shape saves real engineering time.

Price it from Expert, not from the headline. The €224 on the page is Professional on yearly billing, and Professional lists no API, so programmatic access starts at €849 a month for 10,000 keywords. At that size the per-keyword cost is fair, but a team pulling one monthly report is paying for a live interface it will not use.

Design around the ceilings. At 100 read requests a minute and four connections per IP, a large account needs paging and a queue, history arrives in 100-day windows, and anything below position 30 can be up to two weeks old. Scheduled reports across many engines are a cheaper job, and AWR's export API is built for it.
