AccuRanker API review

Fastest rank refresh

Reviewed by Eugene SuslovUpdated August 2026No affiliate links

AccuRanker does one job and is unusually good at it. Rankings update daily by default and can be refreshed on demand, which is the feature that separates it from tools where you wait until tomorrow to see whether this morning's change moved anything.

The API is included rather than sold separately, which is worth noting in a category where that is often a $500 upsell. You are buying a rank tracker with programmatic access, not raw SERP data you then have to turn into rankings yourself.

Who AccuRanker API is for

Agencies and in-house teams that report on rankings as a deliverable and want that data flowing into their own dashboards. If you would otherwise build rank tracking on a SERP API, this is the buy-versus-build comparison worth running.

Strengths and limits

What it does well

  • On-demand refresh means you can verify a ranking change immediately rather than waiting for the next scheduled crawl.
  • API access is included in the subscription rather than gated behind a separate tier.
  • Purpose-built for the job, so share of voice, competitor tracking and location handling are already solved.
  • Consistently rated for speed and accuracy among dedicated rank trackers.

Where it falls short

  • Expensive per keyword compared with building the same tracking on a SERP API.
  • Rank tracking only. No backlinks, no keyword research, no technical audit.
  • Priced by tracked keywords, so large keyword sets get costly quickly.

AccuRanker API pricing

The Professional plan starts at $224 a month for 2,000 tracked keywords on monthly billing, or roughly $201 on annual. Five thousand keywords is about $485 a month annually, and the 10,000-keyword Expert tier around $688.

Run the build-versus-buy comparison honestly. Two thousand keywords checked daily on DataForSEO's Standard queue is roughly $36 a month in SERP costs, but you are then building and operating the tracker, the storage, the alerting and the reporting. AccuRanker is charging for that layer, not for the SERPs.

Verdict

The right answer when rankings are a client deliverable and you would rather buy the tracking layer than operate it. The on-demand refresh is genuinely useful during a migration or a recovery. If you have engineering capacity and a large keyword set, building on DataForSEO will cost materially less.

AccuRanker API FAQ

  • How much does AccuRanker cost?
The Professional plan starts at $224 a month for 2,000 keywords on monthly billing, about $201 on annual. Five thousand keywords runs roughly $485 a month and 10,000 around $688.
  • Is the AccuRanker API included in the subscription?
Yes, which is a real difference from platforms that gate API access behind a separate and much more expensive tier.
  • What is on-demand rank refresh?
The ability to re-check a keyword's ranking immediately rather than waiting for the next scheduled update. During a migration or a ranking recovery it is the difference between confirming a fix now and confirming it tomorrow.
  • AccuRanker or building rank tracking on a SERP API?
Tracking 2,000 keywords daily on DataForSEO costs roughly $36 a month in SERP requests against AccuRanker's $224, but you then own the tracker, storage, alerting and reporting. AccuRanker is selling that layer. With engineering capacity, building wins on cost.
  • Does AccuRanker do anything besides rank tracking?
Not meaningfully. There is no backlink data, keyword research or technical audit. It is a focused tool and priced as one, so expect it to sit alongside a broader SEO API rather than replace one.
