Cymate review

Builds and runs it · Bay Area, United States · Since 2022

Cymate is a Bay Area outbound firm founded in 2022 by Wesley Hoang. According to the company page, he worked as a software engineer at Apple, Twitter and Cisco, then scaled and exited a startup built on cold email. It sells mainly to B2B tech startups and shows partner badges from Clay, Smartlead and HeyReach.

The services page offers three routes. Full outreach management covers prospecting, inboxes, copy and continuous testing. A one-time funnel installation builds an in-house stack for a single fee with no subscription. A consultation track adds one-to-one coaching with a monthly guide. The homepage promises two weeks of research before the first email.

Its homepage leans on the volume of its praise: dozens of named client quotes, and a claim of over $100M in closed revenue for its partners, which is the company's own figure.

Who Cymate is for

Seed to growth-stage B2B software companies in North America that want outbound run for them and are comfortable choosing a partner from client testimonials rather than published terms.

The one-time funnel installation suits a team that has someone to run outbound but lacks the stack, and wants to pay once rather than monthly.

Strengths and limits

What it does well

  • Offers a one-time funnel installation for a single fee, a real alternative to a standing retainer for teams with an operator.
  • Commits to two weeks of research before any campaign sends.
  • Publishes a founding year, a founder biography and a location, so the business is easy to identify.
  • Offers a free analysis that returns three to five buying signals and a shortlist of target companies from a work email and company domain.

Where it falls short

  • No prices are published; the homepage says price is based on results without explaining the basis.
  • A homepage table lists 'Guarantee 100%', while the linked fulfilment policy says refunds are handled case by case and cancellations are not permitted once a contract is signed.
  • Full outreach management includes inboxes, but the site does not say whether those inboxes, their domains or the prospect data pass to the client when a managed engagement ends.
  • Self-descriptions such as North America's leading GTM agency and the #1 cold outreach firm are not backed by any published measure.

Cymate pricing

No price is published for any of the three services. The homepage comparison table says the price is based on results and contrasts it with an SDR at over $5,000 a month, but no per-meeting or performance rate appears. The funnel installation is described only as a one-time fee.

The fulfilment policy, hosted on Notion, says refunds are not standard and are decided case by case. It also treats a project as abandoned if the client is unresponsive for more than 30 days.

What you keep, and what counts as a result

Domains, inboxes, data and workflows

Does not say who owns the infrastructure

We found nothing on its site about whether the sending domains, inboxes, lists and workflows are yours when the engagement ends. That is the most common answer in this directory, and it is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the company. Ask before signing.

The unit of a result

Sells meetings

No published definition of qualified.

Guarantee, as published: 'Guarantee 100%' in a homepage comparison table, with no terms stated

This records what Cymate publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the company does in practice.

Verdict

Dozens of named client quotes and a published founder story make Cymate easy to check. That helps a North American B2B tech startup that wants cold outreach run by a team with visible references. The one-time funnel build is the other reason to call, for a team that would rather not pay a retainer.

The 'Guarantee 100%' line comes with no terms, and neither a price nor an exit policy on domains and data is published. Buyers who need any of those in writing should keep looking. Read the fulfilment policy before signing, since its refund and cancellation terms are stricter than the homepage table suggests.
