Penguin Strategies review
Migration, CRM implementation, Integration · Ra'anana, Israel · Since 2014
Penguin Strategies sells migration as its product. The services menu is Dynamics to HubSpot, Marketo to HubSpot, ERP integrations, RevOps and RevIntel, and the homepage claim is hundreds of migrations off Salesforce, Marketo, Eloqua, Dynamics and Pipedrive since 2014.
The pricing page is the unusual part and it argues its own case. Every figure comes from a signed statement of work in the last 18 months, two calculators run without an email, and the page says outright that sixteen partner pricing pages in, you find a book-a-call button where the number should be.
A migration is a flat fee regardless of how many systems you are leaving, so Salesforce and Marketo together cost the same as either alone. The page also lists four things it refuses to price, including the cost of staying and whether you should do the project at all.
Who Penguin Strategies is for
B2B technology and manufacturing companies leaving a legacy stack under a contract deadline. The migration calculator also shows what you will pay twice for while both stacks run, which the page notes is usually the larger number.
Finance teams that have to approve a number before any vendor conversation get an unusual amount here. The three migration tiers each name what moves the price, from hub count to CPQ and custom integrations, so an estimate can be assembled internally.
Strengths and limits
Strengths
- Prices twelve separate outcomes in public, including a flat migration fee and a $25,000 per portal CPQ build, and dates the whole page as last validated September 2026
- Credits every dollar of the $5,000 to $15,000 audit against the project if you go ahead
- States there is no hourly rate, ever, and that a monthly engagement means named people and written service levels rather than a blanket retainer
- Publishes what it will not price and why, including the productivity dip during a change and whether the project is worth doing at all
Limits
- Team size is not published anywhere, and there is no headcount or delivery model on the site
- Nothing published says who owns the custom integrations or the documentation after go-live
- There is no statement about whether it is compensated on HubSpot or Clay licences
- Entry is high: the cheapest named foundation is $3,500 and a one-hub migration starts at $40,000
Penguin Strategies pricing
The published list runs from a $3,500 reporting and attribution rebuild through $5,000 foundations for Clay and revenue intelligence, a $7,000 AI agent build, a $10,000 custom integration, a $2,500 marketplace connector and a $25,000 fixed CPQ build per portal. The AI-readiness assessment is $5,000, $8,000 or $15,000 by hub count and workflow volume, and is credited against later work.
Migrations are flat at $40,000 for one hub starting fresh, $80,000 for marketing and sales with one legacy system retired, and $150,000 for a full revenue stack with CPQ and custom integrations. Ongoing HubSpot admin and support runs $4,000 to $9,000 a month by team size and committed outcomes, and a fractional RevOps lead, described as roughly a day a week, is $6,000 to $7,000 a month.
Reporting and attribution rebuild is the cheapest named item at a $3,500 foundation. A portal or AI-readiness audit runs $5,000 to $15,000 and is credited in full against later work. A migration is a flat $40,000, $80,000 or $150,000 by build weight. Ongoing support is $4,000 to $9,000 a month, a fractional RevOps lead $6,000 to $7,000.
Licences, the build, and whose hands
Does it earn on your licences
Does not say whether it earns on your licences
We found nothing on its site or in its terms about whether it resells HubSpot licences or is paid on the software it recommends. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the firm. Ask before the first invoice.
Who owns the build
Does not say who owns the build
We found nothing on its site or in its terms about who keeps the portal, the workflows and any custom code when the engagement ends. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the firm. Ask before the first invoice.
Who does the work
Does not say who does the work
We found nothing on its site or in its terms about whether the people in your portal are employees, an offshore team or subcontractors. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the firm. Ask before the first invoice.
This records what Penguin Strategies publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the firm does in practice.
Verdict
A company leaving Salesforce or Marketo under a contract expiry has more to work with here than almost anywhere else, because the flat migration fee removes the usual penalty for leaving two systems at once and the calculators run without handing over an email. The audit credit makes the first step effectively free if you proceed.
Entry is expensive for a smaller team: the cheapest named foundation is $3,500 and a single-hub migration starts at $40,000. Team size is never published, nor is anything about who owns the custom integrations afterwards or whether the firm earns on HubSpot or Clay licences, so a buyer who needs those settled should raise all three early.
