MO Agency review
CRM implementation, Migration, Integration · Johannesburg, South Africa · Since 2011
MO Agency organises everything it sells into five layers and puts the CRM platform first: HubSpot, then demand generation, RevOps, digital experience, and innovation and AI. Its own line on the homepage is that most businesses need two or three of the five done properly rather than all of them.
The HubSpot menu is the specific part. Migration, implementation, support and training, integrations, and a separate audit, rescue and rehab service for portals that were set up or managed badly. That last one is priced on the same page as everything else.
It was founded in 2011, has been a HubSpot Solutions Partner for over eight years, and reports 35+ specialists across Johannesburg, Cape Town and London. Clients named on the about page include Mazda, Investec, SASOL and Greenpeace, and technology partnerships run to Twilio and Dialpad alongside HubSpot.
Who MO Agency is for
South African and UK companies that want the cost of a HubSpot programme before a discovery call. Six engagements are priced on one page with what each includes, which is enough to choose a tier and budget for it.
Inherited portals are a stated speciality. Rescue and rehab appears both as a service and as a line inside the support retainer, described as work on portals that were set up or managed badly, which is a different sale from a fresh implementation.
Strengths and limits
Strengths
- Publishes a price for six separate engagements, including the once-off implementation floor of R27,500 and the R45,600 monthly floor for support and for RevOps
- Prices a rescue and rehab service for portals somebody else built, which most firms fold silently into a rebuild
- Includes a licence and seat review inside the implementation package and licence and seat optimisation inside the support retainer
- Names the ERP, finance and telephony systems it integrates, from Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Acumatica and SysPro to Dialpad, Twilio, 3CX and WhatsApp
Limits
- All prices are in rands only, so a buyer elsewhere carries the currency question into the first conversation
- The demand generation retainer carries a 12-month contract, which is longer than the three-month minimum on the platform retainers
- Only the website terms of use are published; nothing sets out who owns the build or the custom code once an engagement ends
- It reviews and optimises HubSpot licences and seats but never says whether it is compensated on the software it recommends

Licences, the build, and whose hands
Does it earn on your licences
Does not say whether it earns on your licences
We found nothing on its site or in its terms about whether it resells HubSpot licences or is paid on the software it recommends. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the firm. Ask before the first invoice.
Who owns the build
Does not say who owns the build
We found nothing on its site or in its terms about who keeps the portal, the workflows and any custom code when the engagement ends. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the firm. Ask before the first invoice.
Who does the work
Does not say who does the work
We found nothing on its site or in its terms about whether the people in your portal are employees, an offshore team or subcontractors. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the firm. Ask before the first invoice.
This records what MO Agency publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the firm does in practice.
Verdict
Six priced engagements on one page, each with its inclusions listed, is the strongest reason to put MO Agency on a shortlist, and the three-month minimum on the platform retainers is short enough to test the relationship. The rescue and rehab line is the right entry point for a portal somebody else left behind.
The rand-only price list means a buyer outside South Africa has conversion and billing questions to settle first. Nothing published says who owns the build afterwards or whether the firm earns anything on the licences it reviews, and the 12-month term on the marketing retainer is a much bigger commitment than the platform work carries.
