Engaging.io review

Integration, Migration, Onboarding · North Sydney, Australia

Engaging.io says it builds the HubSpot implementations other partners do not take on, and the service list backs the claim up: custom integrations and configuration, CRM migration and onboarding, custom membership portals, data migrations, data cleansing, data lakes and architecture, digital transformation, and websites. It has been working on the platform since 2009.

Its accreditations cover advanced implementation, custom integration, solutions architecture design, platform enablement and onboarding. It was named HubSpot JAPAC Partner of the Year in 2025 and says it also took Impact Awards for Platform Migration and Product Excellence that year. The legal entity is Engaging Communications Pty Ltd.

Data lakes are the part that separates it from most firms of this size. It names Databricks, Snowflake, AWS and Google Cloud, and sells the lake as a source of truth for reporting and golden records. It also ships three of its own apps: JinnSync, MailSync and Real Estate Syncer.

Who Engaging.io is for

Mid-market and enterprise organisations moving off Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or Zoho, especially where the data has to be cleaned before it moves. The FAQ treats a messy source CRM as the common case rather than the exception.

Sports and entertainment is the strongest sector on the site, with the San Antonio Spurs and two Miami venues among the named case studies, alongside medical, education, travel and property clients.

Strengths and limits

Strengths

  • Five accreditations including custom integration and solutions architecture design, the two that cover genuinely complex builds.
  • Data cleansing is sold as a service that runs alongside migration, so duplicates and formatting are fixed before records move.
  • Data lake work on Databricks, Snowflake, AWS and Google Cloud sits outside what most firms of this size will take on.
  • Offices in Australia and the United States, with delivery teams named across Australia, New Zealand and the US.

Limits

  • No prices, no minimum engagement and no indication of what a migration typically costs.
  • The who-we-are page says both "over 15 years" and "over 16 years" of partnering, in two paragraphs on the same page.
  • The page linked as terms is a privacy policy, so there are no published commercial terms to read.
  • Nothing addresses ownership of custom integration code, which is the main asset an engagement here produces.

Engaging.io pricing

Neither a rate card nor a minimum project size nor a retainer floor appears anywhere on the site. The FAQ describes process instead of cost: every engagement starts with discovery, mapping data structures, existing systems and the manual workarounds that have built up.

The site does say most clients work across multiple phases as their needs evolve and many return for the next integration challenge, so a first engagement is presented as the start of a sequence rather than a fixed piece of work.

No figures, no rate and no minimum engagement. The FAQ describes the shape instead: every engagement starts with discovery, then runs across technology, process and people, and most clients work across multiple phases.

Licences, the build, and whose hands

Does it earn on your licences

Does not say whether it earns on your licences

We found nothing on its site or in its terms about whether it resells HubSpot licences or is paid on the software it recommends. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the firm. Ask before the first invoice.

Who owns the build

Does not say who owns the build

We found nothing on its site or in its terms about who keeps the portal, the workflows and any custom code when the engagement ends. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the firm. Ask before the first invoice.

Who does the work

Does not say who does the work

We found nothing on its site or in its terms about whether the people in your portal are employees, an offshore team or subcontractors. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the firm. Ask before the first invoice.

This records what Engaging.io publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the firm does in practice.

Verdict

Organisations carrying years of untidy data in Salesforce or Dynamics, and a set of systems that have to keep talking afterwards, get the closest match here. The data cleansing and data lake work is the reason, and the JAPAC Partner of the Year award in 2025 is recent evidence.

Smaller teams that want a standard onboarding at a known price will not find one published, and there are no commercial terms on the site to read first. The link labelled terms leads to a privacy policy only.
