1406 Consulting review
CRM implementation, Integration, Onboarding · Johns Creek, Georgia, United States · Since 2017
1406 Consulting works on HubSpot from Johns Creek, Georgia, and says it has helped more than 400 organisations since 2017. Its homepage notes that many team members are HubSpot alumni who worked with thousands more customers in those prior roles, which is a specific claim about where the bench came from.
The integration work is what separates the site from its peers. Named pages cover CDK Drive, Zywave, Intellidealer, Gingr, Quorum, Label Traxx, Cleeng and Vimeo-OTT, which map to dealership management, insurance, equipment dealers, pet care, political CRM, print production and streaming video. These are vertical systems, not the usual CRM and ERP list.
Five industry pages follow the same logic: dealerships, business training and coaching, streaming and media, real estate, and manufacturing and distribution. Three AI services are sold alongside, from a Breeze AI quick start up to an enterprise AI architecture.
Who 1406 Consulting is for
Companies running one of the vertical systems it has already integrated. A dealership on CDK Drive or a streaming business on Cleeng and Vimeo-OTT is buying a connector somebody has built before rather than a discovery exercise.
Buyers who want the contract before the pitch get something rare here. The full master services agreement sits on the public site, so the ownership, payment and termination clauses can be read and marked up before the first meeting.
Strengths and limits
Strengths
- Publishes its master services agreement in full, so clause 7 on ownership can be read before any conversation
- That clause states that finalised documents, designs, documentation and processes prepared for the client are the client's sole and exclusive property
- Names eight vertical integrations by product, including CDK Drive, Intellidealer, Label Traxx and Vimeo-OTT, rather than listing generic connectors
- Says many of its team are former HubSpot employees, which is a checkable claim about the source of the expertise
Limits
- The same agreement carves out 1406's pre-existing methodologies, tools and know-how, which stay its property and are licensed back on a non-transferable basis the client cannot sublicense
- The agreement contemplates third parties and subcontractors, billed to the client as disbursements, without saying how much of the work is delivered that way
- No price, rate or minimum is published, and the listing records an Any Budget band
- Marketing and design sits in the top level menu, so the platform team is not the whole firm
1406 Consulting pricing
Nothing is priced. There is no rate card, no package figure and no minimum engagement anywhere on the site, and the HubSpot listing records an Any Budget band.
The master services agreement fills part of that gap by setting out the commercial mechanics instead. Work is scoped in signed statements of work against milestones the client sets, third party and subcontractor costs pass through as disbursements on the third party's own terms, and interest is chargeable on amounts outstanding. It also states that on termination 1406 may retain fees already earned.
No price is published. A master services agreement is public at /msa: work is scoped through signed statements of work, third party and subcontractor costs are passed through as disbursements, and interest is chargeable on overdue amounts.
Licences, the build, and whose hands
Does it earn on your licences
Does not say whether it earns on your licences
We found nothing on its site or in its terms about whether it resells HubSpot licences or is paid on the software it recommends. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the firm. Ask before the first invoice.
Who owns the build
Says the build is yours
“the deliverables are the sole and exclusive property of the Client”
Who does the work
Does not say who does the work
We found nothing on its site or in its terms about whether the people in your portal are employees, an offshore team or subcontractors. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the firm. Ask before the first invoice.
This records what 1406 Consulting publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the firm does in practice.
Verdict
The published contract is the strongest reason to shortlist this firm. Ownership, payment, subcontracting and termination are all readable in advance, and clause 7(a) gives the client the deliverables outright, which is a better starting position than most buyers negotiate to. The vertical integration list backs it up with named systems rather than categories.
Read clause 7 to the end before assuming ownership is clean. Pre-existing tools and methodologies stay with 1406 and come back as a non-transferable licence, which constrains what a future partner can be handed. With no price published and subcontracting contemplated in the agreement, both belong on the first call.
