The Playbook Agency review

Builds and runs it

Reviewed by Eugene SuslovRead September 2026No affiliate links

The Playbook Agency is run by two former heads of sales, Leo Branica and Abbas Somji, and sells three things: managed outbound, RevOps and Clay engineering, and researched contact data. The clients it names are mostly SaaS and Web3 companies, including Compilot, Salesflow and Bowimi.

The managed outbound package runs unlimited campaigns across cold email and LinkedIn, with up to 4,000 new contacts and 16,000 touch points a month and two optimised LinkedIn profiles. Response handling with fractional BDRs is a $500 a month add-on, and CRM integration with dashboards another $300.

The FAQ says clients can turn the service on and off, with no yearly commitment, and that most stay at least six months before moving the work in-house. The footer names London, Dubai and Wyoming as its locations.

Who The Playbook Agency is for

SaaS, Web3 and enterprise B2B companies that already have some customers, which the FAQ sets as the entry condition. It works with teams from founder-led sales up to hundreds of reps.

Buyers who want outbound run for a while and then brought in-house fit its stated pattern, and those who only need clean contact lists can buy the data service on its own.

Strengths and limits

What it does well

  • Prices are on the page for every service and add-on, including $300 and $500 monthly add-ons.
  • No yearly commitment is required, and the FAQ says the service can be switched on and off.
  • Publishes the monthly volumes a package includes, such as 4,000 new contacts and 16,000 touch points.
  • Offers a 95%+ accuracy guarantee on its researched contact data.

Where it falls short

  • Prices disagree between pages: managed outbound is from $4,500 on the homepage and from $3,750 on its service page, and Clay engineering from $6,500 and from $3,750.
  • The homepage package sets up 50+ inboxes, but the site does not say whether those inboxes, their domains or the Clay tables stay with a client who leaves.
  • Results are told as meeting and ARR stories, with no definition of what counts as a qualified meeting.
  • The price cards do not state a billing period, so buyers should confirm that the figures are monthly.

The Playbook Agency pricing

Three packages carry prices. Contact data and research starts at $1,000. Managed outbound starts at $3,750 on its own page ($4,500 on the homepage), and RevOps and Clay engineering at $3,750 on its page ($6,500 on the homepage). Add-ons are $300 a month for CRM integration and $500 for response handling.

The FAQ compares this with over $11,000 a month of tooling plus at least $5,000 for an in-house hire, and says it works on a project or retainer basis.

What you keep, and what counts as a result

Domains, inboxes, data and workflows

Does not say who owns the infrastructure

We found nothing on its site about whether the sending domains, inboxes, lists and workflows are yours when the engagement ends. That is the most common answer in this directory, and it is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the company. Ask before signing.

No published definition of qualified.

This records what The Playbook Agency publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the company does in practice.

Verdict

Published package prices and no yearly commitment suit a SaaS or Web3 company with early customers that wants email and LinkedIn outbound. The $300 and $500 add-ons let a buyer see what CRM work and reply handling cost before the call.

Two different 'from' prices for the same package, $3,750 and $4,500, will frustrate a buyer who needs consistent pricing before trusting it. So will the lack of written terms on what a departing client keeps. Confirm which of the two published prices applies, and whether the figures are monthly.
