Superside review

Graphic design, Branding, Motion and video

Superside calls itself the creative team for in-house creative teams, and its pricing is built for large marketing organisations. A subscription is a monthly budget plus a fixed $1,000 software fee. Each brief is scoped and priced against that budget by a project manager before work starts.

The Flex plan starts at a $15,000 monthly budget on an annual term, and unused budget rolls over for up to three months. A Dedicated AI-Native Team, with the same people every month, starts at $30,000 a month on a 12-month term. Extra work is billed as overages or as Project Boosters from $15,000.

It says it has hired more than 800 people in 67 countries, with video and photo production hubs in Bogotá and Johannesburg. Every account gets an account manager, a project manager and a creative lead, and AI use can be switched off for the whole account.

Who Superside is for

Marketing organisations with a steady, varied creative load and a creative budget already in the six figures a year, such as a brand team running campaigns across several markets. The project plan with a cost estimate before each brief gives finance a clear view of what each piece costs.

Startups and small teams meet a $15,000 monthly floor and an annual commitment, which puts the entry point far above the flat-fee request queues sold elsewhere in the market.

Strengths and limits

What it does well

  • Publishes its floor, $15,000 a month on an annual term, instead of hiding every figure behind a sales call
  • Unused Flex budget rolls over for up to three months rather than expiring at month end
  • Every brief gets a project plan with a cost estimate and timeline before work begins
  • Covers video, motion, 3D, illustration, UI and localisation on one contract, with a named account manager, project manager and creative lead

Where it falls short

  • The annual commitment and $15,000 floor rule out teams still testing whether they need outside creative at all
  • Two revision rounds are standard; more are arranged depending on scope, which can draw on the budget
  • The weekly sync meeting, including preparation time, is charged to the budget, per its help centre
  • Its public terms cover the website only, and ownership of deliverables is not set out beyond a note that working files are delivered if applicable

Superside pricing

Two figures are published. Flex subscriptions start at a $15,000 monthly budget on an annual term, and Dedicated AI-Native Teams at $30,000 a month on a 12-month term. Both add a $1,000 monthly software fee for the Superspace platform, Brand Brain and Superads Pro. Unused Flex budget rolls over for up to three months.

Within the budget, each project is quoted separately, so the entry price buys a pool of spend rather than a set output. Overages run at your standard rate, Project Boosters start at $15,000, and a Quick Start setup costs $20,000 for three weeks.

We found nothing on its site or in its terms about the number of requests that can be in progress at the same time. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the company. Ask before the first invoice.

Verdict

Superside is shaped for an enterprise brand or marketing team that already spends heavily on agencies and wants one annual contract covering ads, video, brand and web. The per-project estimates, the three-month rollover and the named leads suit a buyer who reports creative spend to finance and needs to see where each dollar went.

Smaller buyers hit the floor first: $15,000 a month for twelve months is $180,000 of budget before the $1,000 monthly software fee. Anyone who wants a fixed menu of requests, or the freedom to cancel after a month, is shopping in a different part of the market.
