Flocksy review

Graphic design, Motion and video, Illustration · Since 2016

Flocksy, trading since 2016, sells time rather than requests. Plans run from 2 to 8 daily hours, with custom teams beyond that, and every minute is logged in the client portal against a project and a person. Unused hours roll into the next cycle for up to 30 days while the plan is active.

Each account gets the same designer, video editor, motion editor and illustrator, with copywriting support. A production coordinator joins at 4 daily hours and an art director at 6. It designs pages and assets but, by its own FAQ, does not build or code websites.

The headline prices assume annual billing. The 2 Daily Hours plan is $1,199 a month billed annually and $1,699 month to month, with quarterly billing in between.

Who Flocksy is for

Marketing teams that want to see exactly where the budget went, and that mix design, video and copy in the same week, get the most from an hour-based plan. The minute-level log answers the usual question about what a flat fee actually delivered.

Teams that need a developer to ship the site will have to hire one separately, since Flocksy stops at page designs and assets.

Strengths and limits

What it does well

  • Logs work to the minute per project and per person, visible in the client portal
  • Unused hours roll over for up to 30 days instead of expiring at month end
  • Publishes monthly and annual prices for every level from 2 to 8 daily hours, $1,199 to $5,899
  • The terms say ownership of paid deliverables is permanent and survives cancellation

Where it falls short

  • The headline $1,199 price needs annual billing; month to month the same plan costs $1,699
  • Banked hours are forfeited immediately on cancellation, downgrade or a lapse in payment
  • A refund under the 14-day guarantee is discretionary, excludes processing fees and returns rights in that period's work to Flocksy
  • Whether the creative team is employed or contracted is not stated

Flocksy pricing

Every level from 2 to 8 daily hours has a published price. On annual billing they run from $1,199 to $3,799 a month; month to month, from $1,699 to $5,899. Quarterly billing saves 17% or more. A production coordinator is included from 4 daily hours and an art director from 6.

The entry plan buys about 42 hours a month. Cancellation must be made two business days before renewal, and files may be deleted once the subscription ends, so exporting them is the client's job.

Who does the work

Does not say who does the work

We found nothing on its site or in its terms about whether the designers are employees or freelancers. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the company. Ask before the first invoice.

This records what Flocksy publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the company does in practice.

Verdict

Flocksy is built for a buyer who wants to audit a design subscription rather than take it on trust. A marketing lead can see each minute against each brief, bank a quiet week's hours for a launch, and choose a plan by the hours a month it produces. The 14-day guarantee covers the first payment.

The $1,199 figure applies only to annual billing, and the month-to-month price for the same hours is $1,699. Buyers who need a developer as well as a designer will not find one here, and banked hours disappear on the day a plan is cancelled.
