FANCY review

Branding, Product and UX, Web design

Reviewed by Eugene SuslovRead September 2026No affiliate links

FANCY runs a monthly design plan covering identity, UX/UI, app and web design, animation, 3D, illustration, presentations and social visuals. Tasks go on a board, the team works through them one at a time, and most first drafts arrive within 48 hours. Development and copywriting sit outside the plan and are marked as open to discussion.

The standard plan is $6,990 a month, and a second plan at $12,990 runs two tasks at a time or processes them faster. Paying quarterly, every six months or annually lowers the monthly rate by 10%, 15% and 20%. A single trial week costs $2,490.

The About page names three team members and lists design awards from 2014 onwards. Its terms, hosted on Notion, name an individual freelance web designer rather than a registered company as the party to the agreement.

Who FANCY is for

Product companies that want high-finish app, web and 3D design and can carry a senior-rate monthly fee. The reviews on the site come from software, AI and crypto companies, and the portfolio leans toward landing pages and mobile apps.

A single paid week at $2,490 lets a buyer test the working style on one real task before committing to a month. Teams with a long queue of small requests will find one active task at $6,990 an expensive way to clear it.

Strengths and limits

What it does well

  • Publishes both plan prices and every prepayment discount on its pricing page, down to the saving in dollars
  • Offers a paid trial week at $2,490, so the first commitment is smaller than a full month
  • Its terms state that all designs and original source files belong to the client, who alone owns the copyright
  • Covers 3D and animation inside the plan alongside UX/UI, app and web design, according to its services page

Where it falls short

  • The FAQ says no refunds are issued, and the terms add that work from any refunded period stays with the company and may not be used
  • Only one task is active at a time on the $6,990 plan; running two in parallel means the $12,990 plan
  • The terms name an individual freelance web designer, not a company, as the contracting party, and the site does not say who employs the designers
  • Webflow, React and other development, plus copywriting, sit outside the plan and are only marked as discussable

FANCY pricing

The standard plan costs $6,990 a month for unlimited tasks handled one at a time, unlimited revisions and updates every 48 hours. Prepaying lowers the rate to $6,291 quarterly, $5,942 every six months or $5,592 on an annual payment of $67,104. The faster plan costs $12,990 a month, falling to $10,392 on annual prepayment, and runs two tasks at a time or faster processing.

A trial week costs $2,490. Plans renew monthly and can be cancelled with at least 7 days' notice before the payment cycle ends, and the FAQ says the subscription can be paused and resumed.

We found nothing on its site or in its terms about whether the designers are employees or freelancers. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the company. Ask before the first invoice.

Verdict

Funded product teams that want app, web, 3D and motion work at a high finish are the buyers this plan is priced for. The paid $2,490 trial week lets them test the fit before a $6,990 month. The published prepayment discounts also make a long engagement easy to cost.

Budgets under $6,990 a month, or queues that need several tasks moving at once, fit poorly, since parallel work costs $12,990. The no-refund stance, and a contract with an individual rather than a company, are both worth reading in full before paying.
