Cueball Creatives review
Graphic design, Branding, Web design · Salem, India
Cueball Creatives is a design studio based in Salem, India, which says it began by doing white-label design and marketing work for large agencies before moving to flat monthly plans. Its main plans cover graphic design, motion graphics and video, and a second set of plans covers Amazon listing images, A+ Content and storefronts.
The graphic design plans are priced by capacity. Starter is $449 a month for one active task and a shared designer. Growth is $799 for three tasks and a designer you choose, and Scale is $1,199 for five tasks and a dedicated creative team. Requests are managed in Asana, and any invited team member can submit them.
Selection is the distinctive step. After a discovery call, several designers work on a real task from your brand, and you keep the one whose sample fits. A 7-day free trial with no card follows. The Amazon plans, Core at $899 and Catalog at $1,599, are priced by listings a month rather than by tasks.
Who Cueball Creatives is for
Startups, small businesses and founder-led agencies with a regular flow of social, ad, print and short motion work, who have been let down by rotating designers. Choosing the designer from side-by-side samples, and keeping them, is the part of the offer aimed squarely at that problem.
Amazon sellers are the second reader. Core covers roughly 8 to 10 listings a month with competitor research and copy in each task, and Catalog doubles that and adds video, A+ Content, Brand Story and storefront work.
Strengths and limits
What it does well
- Publishes all five plan prices and the active task cap of each: one, three or five on the design plans, one or two on the Amazon plans
- States that full ownership of delivered designs transfers to the client and that it retains no intellectual property rights in them
- Lets clients choose their designer from samples made on their own brand before the subscription starts
- Includes motion graphics and video in every design plan, with a 7-day free trial that needs no card
Where it falls short
- Its FAQ says plans differ only in the number of active tasks, while the plan cards also differ on turnaround, UI design and whether the designer is shared
- Ownership is stated as transferring once a design is delivered and the subscription is active, which leaves open what happens to work delivered in an unpaid month
- A pause is arranged by asking an account manager to 'work something out' rather than offered as a set option, and the payment agreement says a monthly plan cannot be refunded once purchased
- Does not say whether the designers who produce the samples and the work are employees or freelancers; the site only says they are on its team
Cueball Creatives pricing
Starter is $449 a month for one active task, a shared designer and a 12 to 48 hour turnaround. Growth is $799 for three tasks, 12 to 24 hours, UI design and a designer you choose. Scale is $1,199 for five tasks and a dedicated creative team. New clients get 20% off their first three months on quarterly billing, which shows Starter at $359.
The Amazon plans are Core at $899 for roughly 8 to 10 listings a month and Catalog at $1,599 for 16 to 20. Single listings are sold without a subscription at $125 to $200. Cancellation is by email before the next billing date, and an immediate cancellation loses payment processing fees.
How many at once, whose files, whose hands
How many requests run at once
Publishes a cap on active requests
“For example, the Starter plan runs 1 active task. Growth runs 3 tasks in parallel by your primary designer. Scale runs 5 tasks in parallel by your dedicated creative team.”
Who owns the files and the rights
Says the work and its rights are yours
“Once a design is delivered and your subscription is active, full ownership transfers to you.”
Who does the work
Does not say who does the work
We found nothing on its site or in its terms about whether the designers are employees or freelancers. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the company. Ask before the first invoice.
This records what Cueball Creatives publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the company does in practice.
Verdict
Designer churn is the problem these plans are built to solve, and the fix is concrete: you see samples from several designers on your own brand, choose one, and keep them. For a startup or agency that wants several designs moving at once, Growth at $799 for three parallel tasks is priced in plain view, and ownership of delivered work is stated outright.
Ownership and refunds deserve a careful read. The transfer is tied to an active subscription, the payment agreement says a monthly plan cannot be refunded once purchased, and a pause depends on an account manager's goodwill. Buyers who need long explainer animation should also note that it is quoted per finished minute, outside the monthly plans.
This is an independent review. Cueball Creatives is not a client or a partner, we have no affiliate relationship with them, we earn nothing if you hire them, and nobody pays for placement in the directory. Prices were read from the company's own pages in September 2026 and change without notice.
