Clipmasters review

Motion and video, Social media · Brussels, Belgium

Clipmasters is a video editing service run from Belgium. Its About page gives its headquarters as Brussels, its footer names Clipmasters BV, and its terms name Unbound Creative Agency BV in Edegem. It says 300+ partners use it and credits its clients with 200 million subscribers, 2 billion views and $300 million in sales, all figures it publishes about itself.

One plan is priced in public. Scale costs $1,897 a month, $1,707 on quarterly billing or $1,581 on yearly, for part-time support from a dedicated editor, unlimited requests and revisions, an account manager and Slack access. Enterprise, a full-time editor or a whole team with motion and graphic designers, is quoted on a call.

Its process has two published checks. In the first month it tests several editors on the client's own footage before settling on one, and a creative project manager watches every video before it is delivered. Requests go through Wrike, and each finished video can be downloaded together with its project files.

Who Clipmasters is for

Marketing teams, podcast studios and agencies producing video every week, who want someone other than themselves checking each edit before it lands. The first-month editor trial suits a team that has been burned by a mismatched freelancer.

Podcast studios get a dedicated page covering single and multi-cam episodes plus social clips. Buyers spending under about $1,500 a month have no published entry point here, since Scale is the smallest plan listed.

Strengths and limits

What it does well

  • Says all its editors are in-house professionals who pass a hiring bootcamp and are regularly assessed
  • Lets clients download the project files with every finished video, by its own FAQ, so edits can be reopened elsewhere
  • Publishes monthly, quarterly and yearly prices for the Scale plan, and its terms allow a refund within 14 days of signing up
  • Tests several editors on the client's footage in the first month and has a project manager review every cut

Where it falls short

  • Its FAQ says multiple requests run in parallel on every plan, while the pricing table says it processes one video order at a time
  • Scale clients with a custom workflow must give a month's written notice to cancel, and there are no refunds for unused time
  • The turnaround page says turnaround times cannot be guaranteed, despite the same-day line on the plan card
  • Nothing is published below $1,581 a month, pausing is not mentioned, and the terms were last updated in September 2023

Clipmasters pricing

Scale is $1,897 a month on monthly billing, $1,707 on quarterly and $1,581 on yearly, which the site says saves $3,794 a year. It includes part-time editing support, a dedicated editor, an account manager, unlimited brand kits, Slack collaboration and custom workflow integration, with thumbnails as a $109 add-on.

A refund can be requested within 14 days of signing up. After that, cancellation is available at any time through the website but earns no refund, and Scale clients with a custom workflow owe a month's notice. Enterprise pricing, for full-time editors or a mixed creative team, is not published.

How many requests run at once

Says requests run in parallel

You can submit as many requests as you like, and multiple requests are worked on in parallel.

Who owns the files and the rights

Does not say who owns the files

We found nothing on its site or in its terms about whether you receive editable source files and when the rights pass to you. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the company. Ask before the first invoice.

Who does the work

Says its own people do the work

All of our editors are in-house professionals who are regularly assessed for quality and efficiency.

This records what Clipmasters publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the company does in practice.

Verdict

The $1,897 Scale plan buys two things a solo freelancer rarely offers. The first month is spent testing several editors on your own footage, and a project manager reviews every cut before you see it. Marketing teams and podcast studios producing video weekly get in-house editors, project files with each delivery, and a 14-day refund window.

Two published statements conflict, and buyers should settle them in writing: the FAQ promises parallel work on every plan, while the pricing table says one video order at a time. The entry price is also high for a creator posting once a week, and a custom workflow adds a month's notice to any cancellation.
