Listings

Add or correct a listing

358 companies and products sit across six directories here. If yours is missing, or if we got a detail wrong, this is the form.

It is free. There is no listing fee, no priority placement and nothing to buy later.

Three things that change what happens next

We check before we publish.

Everything on these pages is read off the company's own website and dated. We will read yours against what you send, so keep it to things your own pages actually say. A detail published nowhere stays a blank field rather than a claim.

A submission is a read, not a listing.

Each directory has a published test and it is narrow on purpose. Companies far better known than most of the ones listed have been left out for failing it, and that is what makes the lists worth reading. If you do not fit, you get an email saying which rule and nothing about you goes on the site.

Nothing here is for sale.

No fee, no sponsored position, no way to move up a page. Ordering is a count of what a company publishes about itself, not a rating, and outbound links are nofollowed. Being listed is worth a reader.

The form

Two of them. Add a company that is missing, or ask for a change to one that is listed. Starred fields are required, and anything you leave blank we look up ourselves.

What do you need?
Which list

What gets in: The product is an API that returns SEO data. A platform with an API attached belongs in a different list. See the list.

The company

Six fields, because everything else is read off your own site anyway. Asking you to fill in thirty would imply we publish what we are handed, and we do not.

Everything we publish about you is read off this site.

The service page, pricing page or docs that make the case. Optional, and it speeds up the check.

As published. "Not published" is a real answer and roughly half the companies listed use it.

You

Or your relationship to the company, if you do not work there.

Free. Nothing to buy, now or later.

Questions

Does it cost anything to be listed?

No, and there is nothing to buy later either. No listing fee, no priority placement, no sponsored row. Nothing on any of these pages moves because somebody paid, which is also why we cannot sell you a spot at the top even if you ask.

How do you decide what to publish about us?

Every fact is read off your own website and dated. If your pages do not say something, we leave the field blank rather than take it on trust or estimate it. That is why the forms ask you to point at a page rather than simply assert a figure.

What if we submit and you do not list us?

You get an email naming the rule you did not meet, and nothing about you appears on the site. Each directory has a published inclusion test and it is narrow on purpose. A company that does not fit is not a worse company, it is a company on a different list.

Can we change what you say about us?

You can correct the facts: your price, your URL, what you sell, who does the work, who keeps the files. Tell us what is wrong and point at the page on your own site that says otherwise, and we will re-read it and change it. What you cannot change is the verdict, the strengths or where you sort, because those are our reading of you, and a directory whose subjects write their own reviews is an advertising page.

Do we have to prove we work there?

No. Anyone may tell us a listing is wrong, because a mistake is a mistake whoever spots it, and we check every claim against the company's own site before changing anything. If your email is on the company domain we will see that on the request, which usually means we can move faster.

How long does it take?

A few days, usually. Checking a submission means reading your pages and recording where each detail came from, and that is slower than accepting what we are sent. If we cannot find something on your site we will email and ask rather than publish a guess.

Can you take our listing down?

Yes. Ask through the form or by email and it comes down, without an argument and without a retention offer.

Do you link to us, and do the links pass anything?

Every outbound link in these directories carries rel="nofollow noopener". That is deliberate and it is not negotiable, most obviously on a directory of companies whose business is acquiring links. Being listed is worth a reader, not a link.
