ClayGenius review

Runs it for you

Reviewed by Eugene SuslovRead September 2026No affiliate links

ClayGenius is a small done-for-you shop built around Clay, and it says so in its name and its footer, where it lists itself as a Clay Certified Partner. The pitch is narrow: AI researches the buyers, drafts each email from the prospect's news and role, and sends 500+ a day from warmed domains that never touch the client's main domain.

The part beyond sending is worth reading. The homepage promises a runbook and Loom videos, with everything documented in the client's accounts on the client's credentials, plus daily monitoring, a weekly scorecard and a shared Slack channel. For contact, the site gives a single personal email address.

Its case studies are data jobs as much as outreach. One matched schools in every district to their real decision makers for a K-12 EdTech firm; another read the FCC database for a compliance testing company. The blog is a set of job-board scraping guides built around its own actors on Apify.

Who ClayGenius is for

B2B founders without a sales team who want meetings booked from cold email and do not want to run the tooling themselves. The homepage frames itself against hiring SDRs, so it suits a company weighing that hire.

Public registers and sector databases are where most of its case studies do their work, so a buyer whose market needs that kind of unusual list building has a reason to call.

Strengths and limits

What it does well

  • States that everything is documented in the client's accounts on the client's credentials, so the system can move in-house.
  • Offers a free 20-minute audit that includes a workflow teardown the prospect keeps whether or not they hire.
  • Case studies describe specific data work, such as mining the FCC database for a buying signal, rather than generic volume.
  • Keeps sending on separate warmed domains and rotating inboxes so the client's main domain is not used.

Where it falls short

  • No price is published; the site says one flat price is quoted in writing on the call.
  • No team, address, founding date or company details are published beyond one email address.
  • The homepage says two client spots are available but gives no date or capacity figure behind it.
  • Case study results are short client statements without figures for meetings or pipeline.

ClayGenius pricing

No price is published. The homepage describes one flat price covering research, writing, sending, reply routing, documentation and daily management, quoted in writing on the free 20-minute call.

The site does not say whether that price is monthly, whether tool and domain costs sit inside it, or what the minimum term is. Ask all three before comparing it with a shop that publishes a rate.

What you keep, and what counts as a result

Domains, inboxes, data and workflows

Says you keep what it sets up or sources

Everything documented in your accounts, on your credentials. Take it in-house whenever you want.

The unit of a result

Sells meetings

No published definition of qualified.

This records what ClayGenius publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the company does in practice.

Verdict

The free 20-minute audit leaves a workflow teardown behind whether or not you hire, which makes the first step cheap for a founder-led B2B company. The fit is one that wants Clay-driven cold email run daily, with the workflows written up in its own accounts from the start.

Beyond one email address, no company details are published, so buyers who need a named team, an address to look up or a published price should go elsewhere. A buyer who needs LinkedIn or calling as well as email should note that the site describes email only.
