Growmodo review

Graphic design, Branding, Product and UX · Leverkusen, Germany

Growmodo, registered in Leverkusen as Growmodo GmbH, now presents itself as a production partner for agencies and marketing teams. Its help centre says it spent years running design and development subscriptions and has rebuilt the service around AI-assisted intake, routing and quality checks. Work runs through a dedicated project manager in Asana or ClickUp, and clients do not talk to designers directly by default.

The services page maps 151 project types across design, development and combined work. Each carries an average time to first version, from within 24 hours for social ads to within a month for a full SaaS platform. Design covers brand, UI/UX, decks, illustration, print, packaging, ads, motion and email. Development runs from Webflow and Framer builds to native mobile apps.

The public pricing page has gone: the old URL now lands on the homepage, and plans are priced on a discovery call. The help centre names three memberships, Care, Growth and Scale, and says Growth runs one active project at a time with around four hours a day of production.

Who Growmodo is for

Agencies that sell design and websites to their own clients and want the production done under their brand. The model assumes a steady pipeline, briefs written by someone who knows how, and one person on your side who owns approvals.

Marketing teams at B2B and SaaS companies are also named in its help centre. A buyer who wants to talk to designers over Slack should know that communication stays in the project workspace.

Strengths and limits

What it does well

  • Its help centre says outright that it does not promise unlimited parallel output, and names one active project per talent slot
  • States that custom deliverables are fully the client's, with editable source files handed over by default
  • White label by default: it says it stays out of client calls and keeps its name off invoices, files and handoff material
  • Publishes an average time to first version for each of its 151 project types

Where it falls short

  • No plan is priced in public, and the old pricing page now redirects to the homepage
  • Its specialists are contractors, by the site's own description, and clients reach them through a project manager rather than directly
  • Development, app builds and automation sit beside design in one catalogue, so design buyers share a production system built for both
  • Rights depend on a separate agreement: the public terms say it typically grants full ownership on payment, with a non-exclusive licence if no IP clause exists

Growmodo pricing

Nothing is priced publicly. The help centre describes three memberships. Care is for maintenance only, and Growth is a daily production layer with one active project and about four hours a day of capacity. Scale is for larger or more technical work. Add-ons extend capacity, and memberships can be stacked for parallel work.

Memberships are monthly, flat rate and paid upfront by card through Stripe, with no bank transfers. The subscription clock starts only once onboarding, usually one to two weeks, is complete. Pausing and cancelling take effect from the next billing cycle.

How many at once, whose files, whose hands

How many requests run at once

One active request at a time

Each talent slot gives you a defined amount of production capacity and one active project at a time.

Who owns the files and the rights

Says the work and its rights are yours

100% yours, including source files. ... We hand over editable source files by default whenever the format allows it.

Who does the work

Says freelancers or contractors do the work

Long-term contractors get the chance to receive health benefits and ensure their well-being.

This records what Growmodo publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the company does in practice.

Verdict

Agencies with a steady flow of client design and web work, and the process to brief it well, are the buyers Growmodo writes for. The white label rules, the written limit of one active project per slot and the promise of editable source files are more candid than most marketing copy in this market.

A buyer who wants to compare prices before a call gets nothing to work with, since every plan is quoted on a discovery call. Pure design buyers should also weigh that development and automation share the same catalogue and talent pool, and that designers work as contractors behind a project manager.
