DotYeti review
Graphic design, Marketing design, Social media · Since 2020
DotYeti sells design to marketing teams through a dedicated pod, which it describes as a stable team of 8 to 10 creative specialists assigned from day one. Work runs through its own platform, where briefs, feedback and files live. Its guide for AI assistants dates the company to 2020, and its terms name DotYeti Design LLC with a notice address in Dover, Delaware.
There are four plans. Base is $995 a month, Scale $1,595 and Summit $2,595, each listed with two requests in progress at once, while Apex Studio starts from $3,995 with three or more. Higher tiers add an art director, an account manager, video, web design, up to 20 hours a month of basic web development, copywriting and 3D.
Its terms are unusually specific. The client owns the deliverables, but stock and other pre-existing DotYeti content stays licensed, and access to design files ends when a cancelled subscription runs out. The terms also say plainly that there are no pauses, only a Flex Month on Summit and Apex Studio that defers one billing cycle a year.
Who DotYeti is for
Marketing teams at growing companies with a steady flow of campaign work across formats, from ads and decks to motion and 3D. A pod that keeps the same people on an account suits brands where consistency matters more than the lowest price.
Early start-ups can begin on Base at $995 for graphics, illustration, presentations and logos, but branding and video ads need Scale, and motion graphics Summit.
Strengths and limits
What it does well
- Publishes prices for three of its four plans, with six-month prepay rates, and lists the number of requests in progress on each
- Its terms make the client the sole owner of the deliverables and the intellectual property in them
- Assigns a fixed pod rather than a new designer per request, by its own description, with art direction from the Scale plan
- Covers a wide range of formats under one account, including 3D, motion, video ads and basic web development on Summit
Where it falls short
- Its terms say it does not offer subscription pauses; Flex Month, one deferred billing cycle a year, is limited to Summit and Apex Studio
- Design files sit behind the subscription: cancelled accounts lose access once the billing term ends, so downloads must happen first
- The 14-day refund keeps $65 for transaction and administration costs, and requires attending the onboarding call
- Nothing on the site says whether pod designers are employees or contractors, and its terms refer to both
DotYeti pricing
Billed monthly, Base is $995, Scale $1,595 and Summit $2,595; prepaying six months lowers them to $895, $1,435 and $2,335. Apex Studio is listed from $3,995 with pricing on request. The FAQ also mentions discounted 3 and 12 month prepay options without printing those rates.
Base buys graphic design, illustration, presentations and logos with two requests in progress and a 2 to 3 business day turnaround. Brand identity, video ads and animated GIFs start at Scale, and web design, video editing, copywriting and 3D at Summit.
How many at once, whose files, whose hands
How many requests run at once
Publishes a cap on active requests
“Depending on your subscription plan, we can work on 1, 2, or more active requests at the same time.”
Who owns the files and the rights
Says the work and its rights are yours
“Customer is the sole and exclusive owner of all right, title, and interest in and to the Deliverables, including all intellectual property rights therein.”
Who does the work
Does not say who does the work
We found nothing on its site or in its terms about whether the designers are employees or freelancers. That is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the company. Ask before the first invoice.
This records what DotYeti publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the company does in practice.
Verdict
Marketing teams that want the same group of designers on their brand every month get a clear offer from DotYeti. The request caps are published per plan, ownership of deliverables is written into the terms, and the pod keeps motion, video, web and 3D under one account from Summit upwards.
Budget-led buyers who need a pause will not find one: the terms rule it out, and Flex Month is only on the two top tiers. Files also become inaccessible once a cancelled term ends, and the refund keeps $65, so plan the exit before signing.
This is an independent review. DotYeti is not a client or a partner, we have no affiliate relationship with them, we earn nothing if you hire them, and nobody pays for placement in the directory. Prices were read from the company's own pages in September 2026 and change without notice.
