Clayground review

Builds it, you run it · Zürich, Switzerland

Reviewed by Eugene SuslovRead September 2026No affiliate links

Clayground is a Zürich team that describes itself as ETH and HSG alumni. It sells three things: a Pipeline System for outbound, CRM Automation for cleaning and enriching Salesforce, HubSpot or Dynamics, and Revenue Agents, a software product called Tricle. The first two are services and the third is SaaS, which the homepage labels plainly.

The Pipeline System runs in four stages. It finds accounts through intent signals and enrichment, engages them with AI-drafted email and LinkedIn messages, handles objections and books meetings, then syncs results back to the CRM. The published Sourcera case study shows the shape of a project: three months, email infrastructure, a Clay-built TAM, four outbound plays and a Slack reply agent.

The homepage closes with a pitch that suits a cautious buyer. Pick one process, build it properly, launch it with the team, and use it as the example for the rest of the company.

Who Clayground is for

B2B technology companies and larger enterprises in Switzerland and wider Europe that want outbound engineered around buying signals, often alongside a CRM that needs cleaning first. Its client logos run from procurement and HR tech to drone inspection, life sciences and private equity.

Teams after a first AI sales workflow, scoped as one project rather than a standing retainer, are a second audience.

Strengths and limits

What it does well

  • Publishes detailed case studies with workstreams and numbers, such as the Sourcera project, which it reports as 6,400+ emails sent and 166 qualified replies in three months.
  • Pairs outbound with CRM cleanup and migration, so the data the campaigns rely on is fixed in the same engagement.
  • Its reply agent keeps a human approval step before any drafted follow-up is sent, according to the Sourcera case study.
  • Names six team members on its About page, most with their degree listed, so the people behind the work are visible.

Where it falls short

  • No pricing, engagement length or minimum term is published for any of the three offers.
  • The site does not say whether the email infrastructure, Clay-built TAM and reply agent from a project like Sourcera's stay with the client once it ends.
  • Tricle is its own software, so advice about agent tooling comes from a vendor of that tooling.
  • The About page's efficiency figures, such as 1M+ hours saved, carry no method or source.

Clayground pricing

Nothing is published for the Pipeline System, CRM Automation or custom builds. The CRM page says a cleanup and enrichment engagement typically takes one to four months, depending on data volume, CRM objects and enrichment sources. The Sourcera case study describes a three-month outbound project.

Tricle, the software product, offers 50 free account actions and a demo booking, but no subscription price appears on its page.

What you keep, and what counts as a result

Domains, inboxes, data and workflows

Does not say who owns the infrastructure

We found nothing on its site about whether the sending domains, inboxes, lists and workflows are yours when the engagement ends. That is the most common answer in this directory, and it is recorded as silence, not as a finding against the company. Ask before signing.

The unit of a result

Sells the build itself

This records what Clayground publishes about itself, read in September 2026. It is not an assessment of what the company does in practice.

Verdict

Detailed case studies, the Sourcera project among them, set out the workstreams well enough to judge the approach before a call. That helps a B2B tech company or enterprise in Europe that wants a signal-led outbound system engineered properly, alongside the CRM work the outbound will depend on.

No price and no ownership policy appear anywhere on Clayground's site, so a buyer who wants either in writing, or campaigns run indefinitely on retainer, should look further. A buyer comparing AI agent tools should also treat any Tricle recommendation as coming from its maker.
